The DPP-6 devices were successfully used in investigatory activities to protect public order and safety during the 21st FIFA World Cup in Russia.
FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES:
- Creation of electronic tenprint cards (text data, slaps and rolls of ten fingers, mugshots and SMT photos) and their transfer to AFIS systems in PAPILLON’s or ANSI/NIST (RUS-I, Interpol, FBI) format
- Real-time identification of an individual against local and remote AFIS databases of tenprint records
- Instant check for involvement in unsolved crimes based on latents stored in remote AFIS databases
- Reading of passport and visa documents that meet the ICAO Doc 9303 requirements:
- recognition and reading of machine-readable (MRZ) string (up to three lines)
- reading of data, including fingerprint information, from a contactless chip
- verification of a document owner by his/her fingerprints
- Reading of ISO/IEC 7816 contact smartcards:
- reading of data from the card chip, including fingerprint information
PRODUCT INTERACTION
DPP-6 interacts only with PAPILLON AFIS systems both to update its local database (fingerprints, photos, demographics) and to get identification results (for express ID checks).
Tenprint files are transmitted to the central PAPILLON AFIS in the PAPILLON and ANSI/NIST (RUS-I, Interpol, FBI) formats. They can be transmitted via any communication channel available, with USB media or microSD.
